When removing old film, PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DAMAGED DEFROSTER LINES OR TABS. Although we are very careful, some defroster lines can get damaged during this process, or tabs can be brittle and fall off. If we are removing and replacing film that was done recently through a previous installer, they will be liable for any glass replacement. As such, if the film was sent out through a Dealership to another installer, and it has come to Shade Window Films to be removed and replaced, the dealership will be responsible if any glass should need to be replaced due to damage. Shade Window Films and its affiliates assume no responsibility for any glass replacement. When you decide to go ahead with the window film removal and/or reinstallation, you are aware of these possibilities and assume the risks involved.
As your window film dries, it's recommended to keep the windows p for 48 hours after installation to allow the film to cure to the window.
